A few weeks ago, it was a little sunny and looked warmer than it really was, so we ventured out to EDEN park that overlooks the Ohio River.  We were able to walk along some paved paths and even found some flowers starting to do what they were created to do - give beauty and variety to the earth.

It was good to be outside.  Since we have had some throw backs into winter.

Life here continues to be very busy.  Since we last wrote we have had a sisters conference where all of the sister missionaries gathered and taught one another.  Sister Ardeth Kapp, a dear friend of President and Sister Welch came and taught us all.  I say us because I (Elder Wendel) was part of the transportation, setup, clean up and overall support crew.

We went from Sisters conference right into a MLC (Mission Leaders Conference) where all of the leadership of the mission reports on stewardships and receives instruction from President and Sister Welch.

Not long after was another round of zone conferences.  We traveled to Muncie in a snow storm.  A drive that should have taken two and a half hours required almost four.  So we were actually a little late for that one.  In addition to inspecting cars we assisted in getting bike racks installed and bikes distributed.  It was a cold stormy day but we all survived.  The next two zone conferences - we actually have two zones come together for each conference so instead of traveling to six zones we travel to three locations - were much the same.  Cold and a little rain.

During our last zone conference, which was held in Lakeside Park KY, Sister Wendel and I did 30 minutes of gospel teaching.  Sister Wendel taught about obedience and I taught about examples of and the purpose of yielding our will to the will of the Lord.  It was kind of stressful and we were both relieved when it was over.
On Friday March 30th the missionaries from the three Cincinnati Zones sponsored an open house at the Norwood Building.  It was titled "A Walk With Christ".  Lots of work went into this endeavor.  Members, Neighbors and investigators came.  There were videos, displays, musical numbers and President Welch gave an Easter Message.  It was very well attended and very well done.  It was inspiring to watch the missionaries interact with members and guest.

Well that about sums up our last few weeks in the Ohio Cincinnati Mission.  I will end by posting more pictures from the last few weeks.  I hope you all have a Happy Easter and Spring.  Remember always that we love you and pray for you constantly.  This work is real!  The Gospel is real!  Christ is real and he lives today!
Much Love
